This is a required assessment for the Science & Cooking for Educators Program.

Summary of Updates

New Activities:
● Covalent bond stability simulation (Lesson 1.2)
● Optional Coulomb's Law extension (meets HS-PS2-4)

Large Scale Changes:
● Changed order of this and modified lesson to use it to introduce molecular compounds and covalent bonds

New Activities:
● Added in simulation to look at stability, potential energy, and relationship to formation of covalent bonds (Lesson 1.2)
● Optional Extension- Exploring Covalent Bonds through Coulomb’s Law (now meets
HS-PS2-4)
