In this 3-4 day lesson, students explore chemical reactions and how gas is produced with caramelized sugar to make Dalgona, a popular Korean candy with a honeycomb-like texture.

While this can be a standalone lesson, we highly recommend pairing this with our caramelization lesson + our baking soda lesson (and doing this one last to apply what they have learned!)
